i dont understand why everything is so catagorized. why are you all so elite. whats the difference between hardcore, grind, metal, metalcore? you dont see rap kids being like "oh R and B and rap are gay lets start a new genre called uberrap". people who listen to nonmetal arent so hostile towards other music. Why do you have to be so elite?

rappers are way more concerned with shooting eachother and buying and cleaning their houses for their appearance on Cribs to possibly have enough time to care about categorizing music.

im gonna go ahead and assume that you're in a band, and that band isn't getting the response that you wanted, so that why you're blaming the "scene". Here's a tip: fuck the "scene". play what you want, but make it worthwhile.

Quite a few rappers hate R&B. "Rap and Bullshit". Educate your ass before it decides to talk.

i guess the point i was trying to make is that pepople in other gengres arent so easy to cut you down because of some stupid label. fuck this im gonna go polka

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 27,2003 1:15pm
actually... that's not a safe place either...
the guy that does the polka show at WUNH is in a band that mixes polka and surf music. He get's all sorts of shit from people cause he's not "keeping it real". Also, his radio show get's hate mail when he plays certain types of polka... there are also a bunch of different types of polka's depending on the time signatures.
types of polkas:
American Polkas, Bohemian Polkas, Czech Polkas, German Polkas, Polish Polkas, Slovenian Polkas, Waltzes, Obereks and Schottisches. then the are all the traditional, contemporary, and fusion polkas in each of the main types of polkas.
