As you may have heard, hardcore legends Agnostic Front have officially signed a worldwide record deal with Nuclear Blast Records. The group's new album, "Another Voice," which was produced by Zeuss and Jamey Jasta (of Hatebreed), will be released on enhanced CD format on November 22nd in Europe and January 5th in the United States. The effort also features guest vocals from Scott Vogel (of Terror) and Karl Buechner (of Freya).

NB are going downhill. they're losing meshuggah after catch 33. soilwork sucks now, in flames sucks now, and AF doesn't help out their line up.

definitly. though I think they will sell a lot of in flames and soilwork cds.
maybe they can take the $$$ they make off that and put out some new european bands...
*hopes*

hahaha or the lack of sales from the new meshuggah will hurt them.

a 52 minute long song because they are pissed at Nuclear Blast. So... no radio play. no videos for this cd.

did you see their last video.. gay gay gay.
it was the first music video I saw in like 6+ years and it was gay!

i like AF.

i dont get why they would want zuess to record it.

agnostic front was my first show when i was 11.

toggletoggle post by attendmyrequiem in maine at Sep 2,2004 2:40am
rational gaze? it was a pretty cheap video, but it was meshuggah's first big video really, so i doubt they had much of a budget. i think they were trying to do something trippy that went along with their cover on a low budget.

all i have to say is at least they didn't attempt to video tape them playing a fake show, actually playing live, or playing in some warehouse like every other video. it did have some orginality to it.

im not sure why they hooked up with jasta, but he only works with zuess. i would be suprised if jamie actualy knew what he was talking about production wise (telling zuess what mics to use and how to do this and how to do that to get it to sound the wa he likes it), since all the albums he's produced sound like anything zuess has engineered on his own. i think he's used more to have his name on the cd. if it's jamie jasta 'produced' it's jamie jasta approved.

jamie jasta is one of the worst vocalists I have ever heard.

Atleast they didn't sign Adema

toggletoggle post by honor4death   at Sep 2,2004 10:30am
joe has a point...

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Sep 2,2004 10:35am
personally, I am a fan of Agnostic Front, but that still is no reason for Nuclear Blast to sign them. What a bad business decision.
I hate these big stupid labels.

toggletoggle post by assuck   at Sep 2,2004 11:27am
i heard some new agnostic front and it sounded just like hatebreed, and jamey jasta doing guest vocals on the song didnt help at all

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Sep 2,2004 12:35pm
Then fuck them, and nuclear blast.

Agnostic Front were amazing up to and including the liberty and justice album. One Voice was ok, this looks like it's going to be part 2 of that album. The last three albums they put out sucked. I will check this new one out but I don't have high hopes.
