Charlotte, have you considered for a moment just getting a second opinion? Or maybe reading the actual literature given by the satanic temple? They don't appear to be downplaying mental illness, but instead want those who have committed atrocious acts against people in need (who seem to also have documented their stories) to be held accountable. Why not actually research it a bit. It seems like while you are obviously battling a mental illness and have every right to be treated fairly, you are stuck in a hole. Why not read the patient's words themselves. See what those who have been done a great deal of harm have to say about it, and maybe form a different opinion with an open mind. It could really help you recover. It could be a breakthrough and it could help you get back on your feet.
