MDf just made this post:

Please take note that Sleep has been moved to the Sunday show at MDF XI and will not be playing on Saturday. The band has issued a statement on the matter below.

" Sleep is honored to perform at Maryland Deathfest 2013.
Al Cisneros (Om, Sleep), Matt Pike (High On Fire, Sleep) and Jason Roeder (Neurosis, Sleep) have been carefully balancing busy touring schedules to push forward
with Sleep as a full, reunited band.

Please be advised: to facilitate the touring opportunities offered to both Om and Neurosis in May 2013, Sleep has rescheduled their appearance at MDF 2013 from Saturday May 25th to Sunday May 26th. Sleep offers humble apologies to anyone that this may inconvenience. (insert verbiage here pertaining to contingencies for those with Saturday-only tickets) We look forward to MDF and beyond.

Praise thee who accept The Iommic in thine heart

- Sleep"

REGARDING THE POSSIBILITY OF EXPANDING CAPACITY FOR THE THURSDAY SHOW AT THE FORMER SONAR:

After some recent meetings about the possibility of expanding the capacity on Thursday, we're feeling very optimistic that we will be able to release more tickets sometime in December. It is not guaranteed, but things are looking positive. If we are able to release more tickets for Thursday, we will give advance notice here, so stay tuned.

In the next couple of months, we'll be able to elaborate a bit more on how the additional space we have access to around the former Sonar will be used. We'll also post a labeled map to help newcomers to MDF get acquainted with the area of the festival, including the easiest, most direct route between the former Sonar and Baltimore Soundstage. The walk between the two venues is an easy, quick 1/2 mile walk that takes less than 10 minutes.

The last of the Friday and Sunday tickets for Baltimore Soundstage are still available on the MDF website. The Saturday show at Soundstage is sold out.

A flyer is in the works and will be available for you to look at sometime soon.
