I've always found location to be good to know because it adds another level to comprehending a band's work: regarding regional politics, culture, natural environment, neighboring influences, etc. It isn't like that anymore, and any tr00sters (like Mr. Conservative) should relinquish their 1950s mentality and accept that diversity is real and an undeniable construct.
