They start playing a riff and you think "Oh that sounds pretty cool" and then they transition into the WORST possible thing, a guitar part so bad that if I played it I wouldn't even play it a second time, never mind put it in a song and all the while your ears are bleeding wondering how they could do that to a perfectly good song.
