second stage
cannae - they were completely trashed and falling all over the place. then the big bouncer guy said it's over the cops where shutting it down. but then after some noise was brought about the matter, the boys were let play 2 songs. at the beginning there was no mic and no right guitar, but after that was sorted out, they played damn good and it was fun considering the bass player was on his back most of the set. I had figured maybe they were getting shut down cause they were so drunk? but no.. to my surprise upon getting to the main stage, I found that place almost cleared out.

spearing jocosta - sounded awesome. when I got in there, they were just playing around and laying/sitting so I joined them on stage to sit down and shoot pictures. but then they jumped up. these guys are pros and played amazingly for the few people there.

eradicate - they had a song about john holms. after the remembering never BS, there weren't that many people at this stage.

our dying moment - the drummer was so fucking jacked up... I thought it was the hulk up there. even if their band sucked, I could say that or my spleen would get ripped out through my brains. I sent some people over just to be amazed. anyhow, the band was pretty good, sounded like really old shadows fall.

remembering never - bass player for on broken wings was filling in for them. they had a full set this time, compared to last thursday at club marque. tons of time to dance, right? wrong... the in dire need dance squad was forced to stop the mosh. everyone dance happy now! I guess one of the bouncers got on the stage.

diatribal revenge - they sounded just like they did last time I heard them at the bomb shelter. the bassplayer broke something as you can tell from that one picture.

scar culture - sounded great. the new singers right in there. they hve some big show coming up with shadows fall in long island... bit too long of a drive for me.

december aeternalis - the bassist was on the phone with his girlfriend like the whole fest... even during their set. the music was pretty crazy.

grail - lots and lots and lots of sound checking. seeing as the other stages go no sound checking at all, this was odd. hardcore with some death metal backups. reminded me a little of scars of tomorrow.

year of confession - ex-skycuttingstars bassist, I guess. I didn't recognize him. tuff hardcore with some cleaner vocals.
