Its really no different than playing a show at Anyclub-USA and being given tickets to sell in exchange for opening for whatever popular band it may be. To me, its like shopping at Walmart...I try and support a local business if I can, but if they'll sell me muscle relaxers for $4 a bottle, I can't fight it. Likewise, getting to play in front of a bunch of peeps at the Palladium is worth doing a bit of legwork and doing the promoter's job for them...even though I'm not huge on the ticket sales thing. Whaddyagonnado.
