Uhhh, to be more clear, 1 kick being 2 hits but u have to take into consideration, what about parts of the songs where it's only one bass drum hit at a time? it's impossible to have a trigger do that and then do double hits when u need it to. unless you had like a tech in the back to do it for you. but if you have to go through that amount of work, just find a drummer that can pull it off for real.
