I think people should ask themselves:

What's the best long term solution for the region?

Muslims and Jews aren't going to turn hippie overnight. For one thing, their values are radically different.

I wonder how apartheid states come about. Maybe a small, less advanced population is used for raw labor, and then revolts, in effect destroying the state?

I mean... how many of you would want to live in:

(a) South Africa now -- highest rate of rape and crime for any industrialized society.
(b) Gaza strip under Hamas -- your grindcore band may get you killed here.

Even more, do you think those societies would last? South Africa went from being a world power to being nobody overnight. Gaza... what comes out of Gaza? Dried date palms?
