Im slightly concerned with the fact that this whole part of town smells like fertilizer. A could bands broke up/ dropped off so this isn't going to be as long of a show as it could have been. Im still down my good camera, but I did bring a "new to me" camera and my last good camera. Let's see how this goes.

kill andrade: you know a band isn't anything but nice when one of their members apologizes for not bringing a case of soda for the audience to share. Granted, once the music starts it's a whole nother deal. The singer's cowboy boots made me think about the seinfeid episode where jerry tries to run away from the muggers and falls. When the bass broke, it turned into all the KA people running around. Watching the sinnger make the fans in the center of the crowd jump rope over the mic chord over and over again was probably the highlight of their set. No wait, th highlight was the singer tossing a jug of water into the ear of someone int eh back of the room. The end of the set turned into a melee... The signer didn't understand what people were telling him. Don't break things. Too caught up in the adreniline of being on stage, He took people telling him not to break things as a threat and some fights happened in front of me. I got coffee on my shoe. A few little fights. After that band members and venue staff chatted about what happened and they finally understood each other. I just stayed out of the way as I saw/heard the misunderstandings fly around. The one suggestion musicially for them is that I think the singer should warm up before hitting the stage cause his vocals are rough and strained for the first song. I noticed that last time I saw them. I the end, the band left after the civilized conversations, never to play in this venue again and all of us are wiser knowing what goes down at a DIY club when you cause damage to some of the equipment.

On a related note, people should straight donate mic stands to this place.

sounds like a good time
