Seems that is happening even today pal. It's unfortunately what drives war, bickering.

I am far from backing away from "a long hard look at reality". You and I just have opposing ideas of what said "reality" is. Once people can actually get over the fact there is a me and you, and realize we are all ONE interdependent civilization, than will continue to decline.

And the "species" aren't necessarily exterminated, like you imply. They're just in areas of the country "we" have given "them". Or better yet, forced them to live in.

In all honesty, who do you think have won had the "settlers" not had guns? I think there would have been alot of scalps laying around. Guns are for chicken shits!
