ok, ok touche sirs! in my defense, i don't like to drop my les paul down the minor third to play out with abhorred then have to switch strings and move the bridge after every gig to get it back to standard for school, it has no trem system, and im wicked parinoid about taking that anywhere. ive already had two guitars either walk away or break away from home. and i spent all my money on the bogner and can't afford a new guitar haha

and if you want to go even further tearing apart my setup, the 1960A's are a really harsh sounding cabinet. the black shadow loaded full back mesa straight cabinet is on my wish list.

but aside from the signal degradation, i just never liked a noise gate and never really needed one. i can have my amp with my master volume at about 3 o'clock, my channel volume at about 2, and my gain at 3 and not have any squealing problems.
