when_legends_die: I guess I missed them.

Always & Forever: they had sooo many friends there who all knew their music, singing along to prove it (and a sizable chunk of them left after a&f was done). Honestly, I don't think I've ever heard of them before yet there were 100 kids there easily. So is the life of concert post social networking websites. I'm willin to bet that 90% of these kids got the show info though myspace dot com. Hell, when I was all these kids age, pre-cave in and cave in themselves would play too practically no one. Maybe if there were myspace back then, their music wouldn't have gone the way it did. Anyhow, this band sounded good. "New-defintion" post-hardcore. The sort with guitars and basses flying all over the place and the members throwing themselves against the crowd. With 3 gguitar players, it doesn't seem to matter if one or two has the guitar behind their head or up in the air. Someone will hit the right note and even still the crowd doesn't care about perfection, only a good show. This band would probably have been amazingly group breaking 7 years ago, but now it's just something fun to see live.

jon benet, the: after a wicked friggen long intermission... excellent energy. Makes me wish I'd listen to their tracks. the singer spent a lot of time on top of the crowd and juming into people's faces. The music had one or two stoner-rock groovey parts to it but nothing annoying. The crowd swelled forward a few times and one time knocked over the stage right speakers. Someone said there was a fight, but I didn't see it. The owner or who ever he was kept saying "if this happens again, I'm shutting it down." Also, kids here really love to clap. They clap for just about anything. During the last part of the last song, the singer parted his way through the crowd, the bass and guitarist followed. Then they came charging back. The guitarist leaped through the drum-set, there is a series of pictures of this happening. As the rest of the band picked up, the singer bitched out some dude he saw hit another dude. Hella uncool to punch other dudes, dude.
