If you like a lot of the bands, it's worth the asking price. If not, don't go. The Palladium is paying for it, and they pick the bands. That is the reality. Life goes on. I think 'boycotting' it is just stupid, it's not like it's mandatory to attend the NEMHC Fest. I've always wanted to do a large fest, though not of this scale, I did put on one Stormfest way back in 1999 in the Lawrence mill of all fucking places. I think I'd aim for a higher % of black, death, doom, thrash, and speed metal, but that's just my preference. Some of my band are going to try our hands at some booking coming up, so we'll see where that leads.
