Great Fucking Album. Better song structures than follow the reaper. More riffage on this album and makes the solo's more precious to hear. The version of your better off dead is slightly different than the version on the EP. Some versions of this album might not have the Slayer cover on it. Id suggest looking online for it. I may have to update this review as I listen to it more. Official release of this is in a few days.

The symphonic Black Metal event of the year! SOng structures are amazing and playing is sharp as razor cut.

"Hate Crew Deathroll" has brilliant/genius guitar/keyboard leads. This alone justifies the purchase of the new CD. However, in comparison to "Follow the Reaper" I miss the brilliant lead like riffs of songs like "Follow the Reaper" and "Hate me". I think from the riff side "Follow the Reaper" is the better album.

that is so boring... Impaled Nazarene, that is real music.

Yeah! Impaled Nazarene own these eyeliner wearing shitbags. Alexi got kicked out of the orginal finnish hatecrew for being an asshole, and for writing crappy songs. this is fucking weak, children of bodom? more like children of sodom[y].

whoever says children are boring should try to get beyond the hatebreed, shadows fall bullshit. If you cant appreciate music for what it is, then shut up. this is one of the best albums this year, but isnt quite as good as 'hatebreeder' or 'follow the reaper'

I'm sorry to say that i've not heard the whole album yet. but i just wanted to say that these guys KICK ASS!!! They got ripped off at the dimmu show. their set was to fucking short. They should have head lined!!! If you love CHILDREN OF BODOM, you'll love the finnish band KALMAH.(afew years older than bodom)most don't know about them.its a sad world. FUCK slipknot!!!

I was caught off guard by this album. It was the heaviness and aggresiveness that got me. But when you get into it, its great like all the other albums. And the heavier riffs are a good thing for them. It makes the album stand out from the others. All in all, a good buy.

The first few times I listened to this album, I found it completely uninteresting, and the only songs I thought to be decent were Needled 24/7 and Angels Don't Kill. Anyway, I didn't listen to it for 4 or 5 months, and when I came back to it, I absolutely loved it. I don't know why I didn't like it in the first place, possibly because I was listening to Hatebreeder so much at the time. Favorite tracks: Needled 24/7, Chokehold (Cocked 'n' Loaded), Angels Don't Kill, Triple Corpse Hammerblow, Lil' Bloodred Ridin' Hood.
