The good H.P. Taskmaster, exalted Obelisk overseer, advises "If you’re at work, I’m just going to say flat out that you probably shouldn’t watch this. I don’t care if you have your own cubicle, office or building... wait till you get home."
Sagelike wisdom, as the band's four-minute, Hammond-soaked love letter to Pam Grier and the women-in-prison subgenre of exploitation films revels in a carnality seldom seen today. The clip, culled from Roger Corman's sleazy 1971 masterpiece Women In Cages, was lovingly edited by guitarist Ryan Adams.
"Caged Heat" is the lead track from the band's new self titled EP, now available on lavish black and gold 10" vinyl from The Ajna Offensive & Doomentia Records.
