on Jun 14,2011 2:07pm | Napalm recording artist and premier "pirate metal" band ALESTORM will be touring North America this fall, in support of just-released new album Back Through Time. Beginning in late August and going through the end of September, SPV recording artists KAMELOT will be headlining the tour, with ALESTORM headlining select dates. Vocalist/keytarist Chris Bowes had the following to say about the imminent North American invasion: "This summer we'll be hitting the States and Canada - and even fuckin' Mexico! - on a big, mad North American tour supporting Kamelot. I hope to see a bunch of you crazy motherfuckers down the front with pints of ale in your hands, rocking out proper pirate-style. Retarded hats and eyepatches are optional!"

Regarding the press reaction to Back Through Time, released in North America last week by Napalm Records, Bowes had the following to say: "Every review I've seen in English says we suck! But from what Google Translate tells me, the Germans seem to love it, and they know metal better than anyone else in the world. So, you should all believe them and buy the fuck out of our album. It's the soundtrack to every badass pirate party - you can quote me on that if you want."
