GO IT ALONE DRUMMER SERIOUSLY INJURED
(April 19, 2004)

For those of you who haven't heard, last weekend GO IT ALONE drummer Lucas McFadden was seriously injured while hiking Mt. Burnaby with some friends. McFadden apparently slipped and fell, causing severe injuries throughout his body. His condition is currently stable, but he has suffered a broken arm, leg, pelvis, and one of his vertebrae was shattered. McFadden will be undergoing back surgery, but luckily escaped any spinal cord or head trauma.

Those who know McFadden speak nothing but the best of him. Those wishing to send cards and/or mix CDs (for his recovery period) are asked to do using the address below:

Go It Alone
1637 West 62nd Ave
Vancouver, B.C.
Canada V6P-2G1

Emails can also be sent to: goitalone@rivalrecords.net.

Everyone with Invisible Youth PR, as well as Rival Records, wish Lucas McFadden a speedy recovery.

THE WARRIORS SIGN TO EULOGY RECORDINGS
(April 23, 2004)

Hailing from the less than known town of Tehachapi, CA, THE WARRIORS have quickly made a name for themselves both in and out of California. After a successful EP released by Straight On Records, Florida hardcore mainstay Eulogy Recordings have signed THE WARRIORS and will be releasing their debut full length soon.

Often compared to Inside Out, Refused, Cro-Mags, and Sick Of It All, THE WARRIORS blend of of early '90s hardcore with a new school attitude demonstrates they can take their influences and make a sound all their own. Not afraid to defy what hardcore deems "acceptable," this band clearly challenges the status quo.

A demo for the song "Red, Black, and Blue" from THE WARRIORS' forthcoming album can be downloaded at:
http://www.eulogyrecordings.com/mp3/thewarriors_redblackandblue.mp3.

PLUTO RECORDS INKS PLEASE MR. GRAVEDIGGER
(April 20, 2004)

PLEASE MR. GRAVEDIGGER has been announced as the newest addition to the Pluto Records roster! Tearing up San Diego, CA since 2002, this band plays pissed off rock n' roll with plenty of punk attitude. Featuring 3 former members of AS I LAY DYING, as well as members of other Southern California notables as THE FRONTLINE and NOTHING TO LOSE, these guys have definitely paid their dues. Recorded by Dan Maier (NO KNIFE, THE PLOT TO BLOW UP THE EIFFEL TOWER) and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side, PLEASE MR. GRAVEDIGGER's debut full length, entitled "Here's To The Life Of The Party," is a blistering indication of the fantastic state of underground music today and will be released by Pluto Records June 22nd. Watch for the band to take their mayhem on the road this Summer as well!

In the meantime, check out two tracks from PLEASE MR. GRAVEDIGGER's "Here's To The Life Of The Party" at:

NEVEA TEARS INK DEAL WITH EULOGY RECORDINGS
(April 15, 2004)

Eulogy Recordings has announced the signing of Southern California's NEVEA TEARS to their roster. Formed after a chance encounter by one of the members with a phone number on a wall, NEVEA TEARS solidified their lineup in 2002 and have quickly built a local buzz since.

Often compared to everyone from REFUSED to KILLSWITCH ENGAGE to HOPESFALL, their innovative combination of hardcore, pop punk, and even techno only begins to offer insight into NEVEA TEARS' versatile sound. With powerful vocals, hypnotizing keyboards, and crushing breakdowns, the band has impressed fans with not only their songs, but also their live shows.

NEVEA TEARS will be recording for their Eulogy Recordings debut in the near future. More information will be available soon.

VERSE, ANOTHER BREATH, ALLEGIANCE JOIN RIVAL RECORDS
(April 13, 2004)

California's Rival Records has proudly announced the signing of three new bands to their roster: VERSE from Providence, RI, ANOTHER BREATH from upstate NY, and California's own ALLEGIANCE. All three bands are young and full of heart.

ANOTHER BREATH's debut 8 song MCD, "Not Now, Not Ever," is already at the pressing plant, with an expected street date of late May/early June. Recorded at God City Studios in Boston, MA by Kurt Ballou (CONVERGE, CURL UP AND DIE, SUICIDE NOTE), this release will make hardcore fans everywhere wonder how they've yet to hear of this powerhouse. Their brand of fast, melodic hardcore (with a definite rock influence to it), has been compared to later SUICIDE FILE material, as well as MODERN LIFE IS WAR, STRIKE ANYWHERE, AMERICAN NIGHTMARE, THE DISASTER, etc. ANOTHER BREATH will also be touring the East Coast and Midwest during late May through mid-June in support of this record.

VERSE, hailing from Providence, RI, features Sean and Eric formerly of WHAT FEEDS THE FIRE. Picking up where their previous band left off, VERSE have added in a little more melody to their incredible sound. Sean's vocal delivery has always conveyed a sense of urgency not commonly found in hardcore today, only part of what makes VERSE one of those bands that really makes the listener feel something when listening to their music. VERSE will be heading into the studio in May to record their debut full length CD/LP to be released on Rival Records just in time for a U.S. tour in July.

ALLEGIANCE have finally become an official part of the Rival Records crew. Having worked previously with Rival Records for the release of their split 7" with INTERNAL AFFAIRS, due out in May, ALLEGIANCE are no strangers to the label. The band will be recording a full length CD/LP sometime in late 2004 or early 2005, as well as touring extensively all Summer.

MANIC RIDE WELCOMES CLOCKCLEANER TO THE FAMILY
(April 12, 2004)

Manic Ride Records has announced the addition of Phildelphia's CLOCKCLEANER to their family. Known for dealing out loud, obnoxious rock, CLOCKCLEANER will particularly appeal to fans of the noise Touch & Go Records was putting out in the late '80s and early '90s. Their debut EP will be released by Manic Ride Records sometime this Summer.
