In the last months of 1999,the turn of the new millenium,Catastrophic was born.Put together by Trevor of Obituary and Keith of Pyrexia,the rest of the band soon came together and released The Cleansing in 2001 on Metal Blade records.Touring came soon after to support the album and spread the Catastrophic name through out the world.In 2005,we released the Born Into Bondage ep,w/ a small european tour to follow,and since then have kept the music going.Catastrophic's style stems from a mixture of the old school/influenced sounds coming from the north and south.The band continues to play and record new material for up and coming albums.
